Christmas 2025

Visiting home is tough for me. While I love Christmas, and adore my family, whenever I’m in my childhood home I can’t shake a feeling of sad nostalgia.

I experienced so much of life in that house. It almost feels wrong to be in it since I left home, like my childhood memories will be tarnished by simply being there. I know this isn’t true, and to be honest, I don’t even know if that’s what I’m feeling. It’s hard to explain.

These photos were taken over Christmas 2025 in my hometown: Moncton, NB. To me, they capture this same emotion of sad nostalgia that I can’t seem to explain.
