Pavel Stroke

was an experimental noise rock band that was active in Halifax in 2023-2024. Even though they were only around a short time, they captivated the scene and brought an incredible energy to shows. They were my favourite band to photograph.

In 2025, they did a one-off show that was one of the best experiences of my life. I was fighting off a brutal cold, and I almost threw up from sheer exhaustion while waiting for an uber… I’m SO glad I went.
